At Keepers

THE 'KARAOKE PARTY' is a creative adventure conceptualized by fashion photographer Lenne Chai, with the unique idea to ‘Sing Your Support’. Lenne, and co-producer Ling Ang, brought together an impressive line-up of over 35 local creatives, designers, artists and musicians. The result: a series of short fashion films with original music you can sing along to!

The official launch of the Karaoke Party exhibit was set at KEEPERS—a pop up outlet housing local designers’ collections. The event was both engaging and interactive with the party divided into two different sections. For those who would love to watch the video installations in detail, can choose to grab a headphone and view the films in an old school twist with TVs stacked and painted in pops of colors! Karaoke Party also saw the launch of designs by Yesah Yesah SS15 alongside a collection of popular streetwear apparels by MASH-UP.

Taking the party outdoors, guests were greeted by a huge photo booth backdrop with the signature illustration by Kimberly (ultravioletsdesign). Party goers were also treated to an entertaining outdoor karaoke session by local acts—ENEC.E, Gentle Bones, Masia One, Stop Gap & Vanessa Fernandez, whose music were also featured in the mini fashion films.

The exhibition is open to public from 17 January to 30 January 2015.
